Status and Calibration of WFPC2

NOTE from Page 1 of the report:

"This document has been prepared by the WFPC2 Investigation Team (IDT). It provides information on our understanding of the state of WFPC2 as of mid-July 1994, and our work on calibration as of this date. Both our knowledge and our calibration data continues to improve as time passes and more data becomes available. The information presented within is subject to revision.

This paper has been submitted for publication in the Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific. However, it has not yet been refereed or accepted. We are making it available to the community at this time becuase of the upcoming Phase 1 deadline for Cycle 5 GO proposals since proposers may need some information on instrument performance in order to submit reasonable proposals. However, we would prefer that this document not be relied upon, e.g. for data reduction, until it has been revised and accepted for publication. Note that we are also preparing an additional publication with information on photometric calibration; some preliminary data is contained herein, but it is not by any means the final word on the subject and it may contain significant inaccuracies."
