The Goddard High Resolution Spectrograph (GHRS), a scientific instrument of the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) launched into Earth-orbit in April 1990, is making possible notable advances in the ultraviolet spectroscopy of celestial objects. The GHRS science team has collected some of the most significant GHRS scientific results into an informative and exciting presentation of new astronomical discovery. This ExInEd Electronic PictureBook is an effective communication tool for professional researchers, and is of interest to anyone with some knowledge of astronomy or physics, including students, teachers, amateur astronomers, and science writers and editors.
