You're in for a treat when you sample this smorgasbord of choice bits from ten of our favorite ExInEd Electronic PictureBooks (EPBs). While each EPB selection included in this Electronic PictureBook Sampler is only a taste of the "real thing," we hope it will describe for you the unique capabilities of Electronic PictureBooks and highlight their simple yet elegant HyperCard¨ presentation format. 

Keep in mind that this Electronic PictureBook Sampler is not itself an Electronic PictureBook and that its hardware and software requirements differ slightly from those of a standard, HyperCard-based Electronic PictureBook.

Hardware and Software Requirements for the Electronic PictureBook Sampler

For this Electronic PictureBook Sampler to work correctly on your system, you must have the following:

   1.  Any color Macintosh¨ computer;
   2.  A monitor with at least a 640 x 480 screen size and an 8 bit (256 color) color or gray scale display;
   3.  6 MB of hard disk space to contain the Electronic PictureBook Sampler;
   4.  At least 4 MB RAM;
   5.  System 7.0 (or a later version).
