VMS Users Guide
Several text editors are available on Institute computers. The standard editor for OpenVMS systems is DECTPU, the DEC Text Processing Utility. If you use several different platforms, you may want to use Emacs. Long-time VMS users may prefer to use EDT, which is still available. There is also a language-sensitive editor called LSEDIT*1 which is useful for editing programming language or LATEX source files. LSEDIT is based on DECTPU.
