Image Orientation Formats
This table lists all the formats currently understood by the Image Orientation
Calculator. The items listed for each format are defined as follows:
- Name
- This is the Positional Database (PDB) name for the format.
- Angle
- Angle the format makes with the U3 axis of the telescope.
- Format size
- Size of the format in pixels.
- Reference Position
- Pixel position of the reference point for the format. Target will
be placed here upon acquisition.
- Plate Scale
- Average plate scale in terms of arcseconds/pixel of the format. Used
for converting POS TARG amounts to pixel offset.
