  The file galaxy_id.list is a useful cross reference between the galaxy
name and the filing convention used in this directory (9opt*.mrg).It also 
provides information about which how many files were merged and what cameras
were involved.  
  To find out the galaxy observed in each file, look at the first and last
columns of this file.  The first column refers to the number in the listing 
in this directory, and the last to the object observed.  For example, the 
file 9opt8.mrg would be the correct file to get if you are looking for
observations of HolmbergII.
