The weekly summary reports are no longer being generated. Archival listings 
are found in the summaries_yy subdirectories.  Oct 13, 1992


The "week_summ_mm_dd_yy" reports were prepared each Monday morning to provide a
high level summary of the previous week's HST activities (where "mm_dd_yy" is
the starting date of the report). The summaries are a compilation of several
different reports including OSS real-time reports, GSFC Operations Manager
reports, PODPS data quality reports and PI-generated reports. 

The summaries must be prepared early Monday morning.  Activities that occurred
on Saturday and Sunday may not have completed PODPS pipeline processing for
full data quality checks and will generally be identified as pending data
analysis. 

The summaries are divided by types of observations - SV EXTERNAL, SV INTERNAL/
EARTH/BACKGROUND, OV RESIDUAL, SAO/GTO/GO/DD, and SPECIAL PURPOSE ENGINEERING.
