HUBBLE SPACE TELESCOPE DAILY REPORT #1117 PERIOD COVERED: 0700 EST Daily Status Report as of 104/1200Z. 1.0 ACTIVITIES SCHEDULED AND ACCOMPLISHED: The spacecraft entered software safemode at 101/0559Z. There has not been any science observations since that time, consequently, the observations after that time were marked as "failed". 2.0 FLIGHT OPERATIONS SUMMARY: 2.1 Guide Star Acquisitions: Scheduled Acquisitions : 0 Successful : 0 Scheduled Reacquisitions : 0 Successful : 0 2.2 FHST Updates: Scheduled :0 Successful :0 2.3 Significant HSTARs: None 2.4 Operations Notes: The HST has been executing the health and safety SMS since it was entered at 104/0000Z. All subsystems, including SADE 1, are performing nominally. SADE 1 was turned on at 103/1715Z. Small maneuvers of -6 and +12 degrees were executed using both SA wings. All operations with SADE 1 were nominal. Later, additional SADE 1 Solar Array maneuvers of 90 degrees to 67.9 degrees, 67.9 degrees to 117 degrees, and 117 degrees to 90 degrees were attempted. All operations were nominal. Therefore, at 104/0123Z, SADE 1 was designated to the PSEA and SADE 2 was powered off. Normal science operations will resume at 105/0000Z when the STScI SMS is entered. The FGS Spin Test started at 104/1236Z, and will last for approximately 24 hours. It will obtain trending and performance data on all three FGSs at three different spin rates. 3.0 ACTIVITIES SCHEDULED FOR NEXT REPORTING PERIOD: The first observational SMS from the STScI will begin execution at 105/0000Z. 4.0 ANOMALY STATUS: 4.1 Significant New Anomalies: None 4.2 Significant Unresolved Anomalies: None 5.0 SIGNIFICANT FORTHCOMING EVENTS: The resumption of normal science observations. /DMH -END-
