One normal dark exposure, and ten internal flats were successfully received. 1.3 Completed WF/PC-2 5635 (WF/PC-2 Partial Filter Stepping Test) The WF/PC-2 was used to conduct a partial filter stepping test. One exposure was received, and it was reported to be underexposed. 1.4 Completed WF/PC-2 5404 (Narrow Band Imaging of Hydrogen-Poor Planetary Nebulae: Cycle 4 High) The WF/PC-2 was used to make narrow band images of the small dynamical structure of the hydrogen-poor planetary nebula IRAS15154. Two images were received and displayed. They were reported to look fine 1.5 Completed FOS/RD 5535 (Cycle 4 Internal Wavelength Calibration) The Faint Object Spectrograph was used to make internal calibration observations to monitor the stability of the wavelength scale for different gratings. Five observations were received and displayed. They were reported to be satisfactory. 1.6 Completed Three Sets of WF/PC-2 5562 (WF/PC-2 Cycle 4 Calibration: Internal Monitor 3: Darks) The WF/PC-2 was used to obtain a 30-minute long, dark exposure to provide ongoing calibration of the CCD dark current and to monitor and characterize the evolution of hot pixels. One nominal dark exposure was received. 1.7 Completed WF/PC-2 1070 (High Resolution Imaging of Radio Galaxies at Large Redshift) The WF/PC-2 was used to make deep images of radio galaxy 3C340. Eight images were received and displayed. They all were reported to be okay, except for occasional recenterings. 1.8 Completed Two Sets of WF/PC-2 5633 (Asteroid Shape and Duplicity) The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of asteroid 243-Ida. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.9 Completed WF/PC-2 5560 (WF/PC-2 Cycle 4 Calibration: Internal Monitor. 1) The WF/PC-2 was used to make several internal bias, K-Spot, and flat calibration observations to monitor the CCD camera electronics, the optical alignment, and for contamination. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.10 Completed FGS 5583 (Long Term Stability Monitoring of FGS3) The Fine Guidance Sensor #3 was used to monitor the optical field angle distortion by making astrometric observations of star OF55-REF which is located in the open cluster M-35. The astrometric observations were monitored, and no problems were seen in the telemetry. 1.11 Completed WF/PC-2 5372 (HST Medium Deep Survey: Cycle 4 Medium, Low Galactic Latitude) The WF/PC-2 was used to make low galactic latitude observations taken in parallel with the prime science observations. The observations were completed as scheduled without apparent anomaly. 1.12 Completed WF/PC-2 5561 (WF/PC-2 Cycle 4 Calibration: Internal Monitor. 2: Flats) The WF/PC-2 was used to make a visual flat calibration images to monitor flat field stability and the stability of the analog-to-digital converters. The observations was executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.13 Completed FGS 5333 (Linking the HIPPARCOS to the Extragalactic Reference Frame, BR12-23, Part 2) The FGSs were used to obtain astrometric observations on star INCA221-88 whose apparent position lies near an extragalactic object. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.14 Completed WF/PC-2 5370 (HST Medium Deep Survey: cycle 4 Medium, High Galactic Latitude) The WF/PC-2 was used in parallel with the prime science observations to make high galactic latitude observations as part of a medium-deep sky survey. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.15 Completed WF/PC-2 5415 (The Distance to the M-96 Galaxy Group: Cycle 4 Medium) The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of Cepheid variable stars within the galaxy UGC-5889 which itself is located in the M-96 galaxy cluster. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.16 Completed WF/PC-2 5570 (WF/PC-2 Cycle 4 Calibration: Earthflats, Large Set) The WF/PC-2 was used to make a set of Earth flat calibration images. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 2.0 FLIGHT OPERATIONS SUMMERY: 2.1 Guide Star Acquisitions: Scheduled Acquisitions : 8 Successful : 8 Scheduled Reacquisitions : 5 Successful : 5 2.2 FHST Updates: Scheduled :19 Successful :19 2.3 Significant HSTARs: None 2.4 Operations Notes: A quiet operational day was experienced aboard HST as each subsystem reported no anomalous behavior. 3.0 ACTIVITIES SCHEDULED FOR NEXT REPORTING PERIOD: 3.1 Complete Two Sets of WF/PC-2 5476 (Continuum Snapshot of 3CR Radio Galaxies) 3.2 Complete WF/PC-2 5635 (WF/PC-2 Partial Filter Stepping Test) 3.3 Complete WF/PC-2 5383 (The Wolf-Rayet Population of Giant H II Regions in NGC-2403: Cycle 4 Medium) 3.4 Complete Three Sets of FOS/RD/BL and FGS, 5535 (Cycle 4 Internal Wavelength Calibration) 3.5 Complete WF/PC-2 5561 (WF/PC-2 Cycle 4 Calibration: Internal Monitor. 2: Flats) 3.6 Complete WF/PC-2 5372 (HST Medium-Deep Survey: Cycle 4 Medium, Low Galactic Latitude) 3.7 Complete GHRS/2 5548 (GHRS ECH-B Blaze Function: Cycle 4) 4.0 ANOMALY STATUS: 4.1 Significant New Anomalies: None 4.2 Significant Unresolved Anomalies: None 5.0 SIGNIFICANT FORTHCOMING EVENTS: Nothing at this time. /DMH -END-
