1.0 ACTIVITIES SCHEDULED AND ACCOMPLISHED:

    1.1 Completed WF/PC-2 5092 (GTO Low Latitude Parallel Program: Cycle 4)

       The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations taken in parallel with the
       prime science observations. This is part of a survey to take
       pictures of a large number of fields within 30 degrees of the
       galactic plane. Five images were received as scheduled, and they
       were reported to look okay.

   1.2 Completed WF/PC-2 5655 (WF/PC-2 Cycle 4 Calibration: Internal
       Monitor. 2: Flats Part 2)

        The WF/PC-2 was used to make a visual flat calibration observation.
        The image was received and displayed. It was reported to be
        nominal.

   1.3 Completed WF/PC-2 5427 (Calibration of Nearby Galaxy type
       IA Supernovae as Standard Candles)

       The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of nearby galaxies
       NGC-4496-F and NGC-4536-FI as part of an effort to find Cepheids in
       this galaxy which has produced a Type I supernovae. The observations
       were executed as scheduled, and they remain on Science Tape Recorder
       #1. They will be analyzed later. No anomalies were noted.

   1.4 Completed GHRS/1 5440 (Spectra Imaging of the Jovian Aurora)

       The High Resolution Spectrograph (Side One) was used to obtain
       spectra fo Jupiter's aurorae. The observations were executed as
       scheduled, and no anomalies were noted.
