1.0 ACTIVITIES SCHEDULED AND ACCOMPLISHED:

   1.1 Completed WF/PC-2 5446 (The Nuclei of Nearby S0 and Spiral Galaxies)

       The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of the core region of
       galaxy NGC-672 to provide statistics on the nuclear cups, stellar
       condensations, and inner stellar disks and dust lanes. The
       observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were
       noted.

   1.2 Completed WF/PC-2 5401 (Luminosities and Morphologies of a Complete
       3CR Sample ot Radio Galaxies)

       The WF/PC-2 was used to obtain images of radio galaxy 3C280, which
       has a Z near 1.0, and also is a quasar. These observations will be
       used to determine and compare luminosities, and morphologies in the
       optical and infrared. The observations were executed as scheduled,
       and no anomalies were noted.

   1.3 Completed WF/PC-2 5220 (The Aurora and Airglow of Uranus)

       The WF/PC-2 was used to make ultraviolet images of the planet Uranus
       to study its aurora and air glow emissions. Red images were also
       obtained, in order to register the position of the planet's limb.
       The observations were completed as planned, and no anomalies were
       reported.

   1.4 Completed WF/PC-2 5655 (WF/PC-2 Cycle 4 Calibration: Internal
       Monitor. 2: Flats Part 2)

       The WF/PC-2 was used to make visual flats calibration images. The
       observations were completed as planned, and no problems were
       reported.

   1.5 Completed WF/PC-2 5312 (A Deep Imaging Search for the Source of
       Short Period Comets)

       The WF/PC-2 was used to search (FIEKD-0341) for comets in the Kuiper
       Belt which is believed to be the source of short period comets. The
       observations were executed as planned, and no anomalies were
       reported.

   1.6 Completed WF/PC-2 5571 (WF/PC-2 Cycle 4 Calibration: Earthflats,
       Smaller Set)

       The WF/PC-2 was used to make several ultraviolet and narrow-band
       filter Earth flat calibration observations to correct for the
       telescope's illumination pattern. The observations were completed as
       planned, and no problems were reported.

   1.7 Completed WF/PC-2  5476 (Continuum Snapshots of 3CR Radio Galaxies)

       The WF/PC-2 was used to make snapshot images of radio galaxy 3C455.0
       as part of a continuum survey and to study the galaxy's morphology.
       The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were
       noted.

       For the past twenty-four hours, there was no anomalous activity in
       any HST subsystem.

       Yesterday evening, the set-up procedures for the Battery #1 Capacity
       Test were initiated. All is proceeding smoothly. The test will
       conclude on Wednesday.
