The exposure time was 1200 seconds. The observations were completed as planned, and no problems were reported. 1.4 Completed WF/PC-2 5571 (WF/PC-2 Cycle 4 Calibration: Earthflats, Smaller Set) The WF/PC-2 was used to make several ultraviolet and narrow-band filter Earth flat calibration observations to correct for the telescope's illumination pattern. The observations were completed as planned, and no problems were reported. 1.5 Completed WF/PC-2 5560 (WF/PC-2 Cycle 4 Calibration: Internal Monitor. 1) The WF/PC-2 was used to make several internal bias, K-Spot, and flat calibration observations to monitor the CCD camera electronics, the optical alignment, and to check for contamination. The observations were completed as planned, and no anomalies were noted. 1.6 Completed Two Sets of WF/PC-2 5446 (The Nuclei of Nearby S0 and Spiral Galaxies: A PC Snapshot Imaging) The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of the core region of galaxy NGC-1249 to provide statistics on the nuclear cups, stellar condensations, and inner stellar disks and dust lanes. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.7 Completed WF/PC-2 5114 (Stellar Formation and Evolution (WC14): Cycle 4) The WF/PC-2 was used to make multi-color observations of the Herbig Haro object HH34-PI. The structure of the HH object will be determined on smaller scales than is possible from ground based observations. The observations were completed as planned, and no problems were reported. 1.8 Completed Two Sets of WF/PC-2 5479 (Subarcsecond Structure in Nearby AGNs) The WF/PC-2 was used to make snapshot observations of the nearby active galactic nuclei of NGC-2377, MARK1127, and MARK171 to study the interactions between their central engine, the stars, and the interstellar matter in their AGNs. For both sets the guide star acquisition and re-acquisitions failed. All nine observations were reported as failed. HSTAR 4913 was generated for these occurrences. 1.9 Completed Two Sets of WF/PC-2 5447 (The Nature of Primeval Galaxies) The WF/PC-2 was used to make deep polarization observations of the distant, massive galaxy 4C23.56 to look for molecular gas, dust, and star formation. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. Some observational data was lost due to anticipated overwrites on the tape recorder, and occurred with SPSS concurrence. HSTAR 4914 was written to cover this event. 1.10 Completed WF/PC-2 5562 (WF/PC-2 Cycle 4 Calibration: Internal Monitor 3: Darks) The WF/PC-2 was used to obtain several 30-minute long, dark exposures to provide ongoing calibration of the CCD dark current and to monitor and characterize the evolution of hot pixels. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.11 Completed WF/PC-2 5211 (High Resolution Imaging of Nearby Nuclear Starbursts) The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of nearby starburst galaxy NGC-253. The observations were completed as planned, and no anomalies were reported. 1.12 Completed WF/PC-2 5343 (WFC Imaging of Nearby Bright Quasars) The WF/PC-2 was used to make images of the bright quasar PKS2349-01 and its host galaxy. The goal is to study the morphology of this galaxy, and to see how it differs from non-QSO galaxies. They also will be looking for the relationship between the properties of the host galaxy and the luminosity of the quasar. The observations were completed as planned, and no anomalies were reported. 1.13 Completed WF/PC-2 5397 (Determination of the Extragalactic Distance Scale: Cycle 4 High) The WF/PC-2 was used to make images of galaxY NGC-925 to be used in measuring the periods of Cepheid variable stars within the galaxy. The observations were completed as planned, and no anomalies were noted. 1.14 Completed Two Sets of WF/PC-2 5476 (Continuum Snapshots of 3CR Radio Galaxies) The WF/PC-2 was used to make snapshot images of radio galaxy 3C93.1 as part of a continuum survey and to study the galaxy's morphology. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.15 Completed WF/PC-2 5210 (Extragalactic H II Region and the Interstellar Medium) The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of galaxy M-101 to look for extra-galactic H II regions in the outer part of the galaxy to determine their characteristics. The observations were completed as planned, and no problems were reported. 1.16 Completed FGS 5135 (Extragalactic Astrometry and Astrophysics, FT0-11, Part 1 of Two) The FGSs were used to make astrometric observations (of stars 0537-441IN, 920-REF, 921-REF, 922-REF, INCA221-35) to obtain data needed to measure the HIPPARCOS reference frame with respect to the extragalactic reference frame. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.17 Completed Three Sets of WF/PC-2 5091 (GTO High Latitude Parallel Program: Cycle 4) The WF/PC-2 was used in parallel with the prime science observations to make high galactic latitude observations greater than +/-30 degrees.
