1.0 ACTIVITIES SCHEDULED AND ACCOMPLISHED:

   1.1 Completed FOS/BL 5444 (A UV Spectral Library of Metal- Poor Massive
       Stars)

       The FOS (Blue Side) was used for a snapshot program to obtain
       ultraviolet spectra of BI13 a metal-poor star in the LMC.  It will
       be useful for stellar atmosphere and stellar evolution studies. The
       observations completed without incident.

   1.2 Completed WF/PC-2 5764 (WF/PC-2 Cycle 4 Calibration: Internal Flats
       - Repeat)

       The WF/PC-2 was used to make internal flat calibration images using
       the VIS lamp and internal sources. The observations were executed as
       scheduled, and no anomalies were noted.

   1.3 Completed WF/PC-2 5449 (The Morphologies of Normal Galaxies at High
       Redshifts: Cycle 4 Medium)

       The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of the high redshift
       normal-appearing galaxies in FIELD-0302 at redshifts of 0.6<Z<0.8.
       Among the characteristics to be studied are bulge-to-disk ratios,
       spiral arm structure, and evidence of interactions or mergers. The
       observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were
       reported.

   1.4 Completed WF/PC-2 5571 (WF/PC-2 Cycle 4 Calibration: Earthflats,
       Smaller Set)

       The WF/PC-2 was used to make several ultraviolet and narrow-band
       filter Earth flat calibration observations to correct for the
       telescope's illumination pattern. The observations were completed as
       planned, and no problems were reported.

   1.5 Completed WF/PC-2 5211 (High Resolution Imaging of Nearby Nuclear
       Starbursts)

       The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of nearby starburst galaxy
       NGC-2903. The observations were completed as planned, and no
       anomalies were reported.

   1.6 Completed FOS/RD 5456 (The BAL Region Covering Factor in QSOs with
       Weak Narrow-Line (O III) Emissions)

       The Faint Object Spectrograph (Red Side) was used to make
       spectrographic observations of the active galactic nuclei of nearby
       QSO Q1129-0229 to study weak, narrow O III emissions and strong Fe
       II emissions in BAL regions. There was an on-board binary target
       acquisition failure at 313/2044Z. The faint limit for acquisition
       was set to 30 counts, maximum was found in the first three groups
       only. A status buffer error message was issued. A SIP corrective
       maneuver was uplinked to the spacecraft, but it did not save the
       acquisiton. No other anomalies were reported.

   1.7 Completed FOS/RD 5588 (FOS Prism Snapshot Survey)

       The Faint Object Spectrograph (Red Side) was used to make a Prism
       observation of quasi-stellar object Q1129-0229 to study its optical
       to ultraviolet continuum shape. The observations were executed as
       scheduled, and no anomalies were noted.

   1.8 Completed WF/PC-2 5085 (Turbulence in H II Regions)

       The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of the small scale
       turbulent H II regions located in NGC-1976-6 (aka, the Orion Nebula)
       using several different line and continuum filters. Ten adjacent
       fields of view were images. No anomalies were noted.
