The observations were completed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.9 Completed WF/PC-2 5560 (WF/PC-2 Cycle 4 Calibration: Internal Monitor. 1) The WF/PC-2 was used to make several internal bias, K-Spot, and flat calibration observations to monitor the CCD camera electronics, the optical alignment, and to check for contamination. The observations were completed as planned, and no anomalies were noted. 1.10 Completed Three Sets of WF/PC-2 5764 (WF/PC-2 Cycle 4 Calibration: Internal Flats - Repeat) The WF/PC-2 was used to make internal flat calibration images using the VIS lamp and internal sources. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.11 Completed WF/PC-2 5397 (Determination of the Extragalactic Distance Scale: Cycle 4 High) The WF/PC-2 was used to make images of galaxy NGC-3351 to be used in measuring the periods of Cepheid variable stars within the galaxy. The observations were completed as planned, and no anomalies were noted. 1.12 Completed WF/PC-2 5476 (Continuum Snapshots of 3CR Radio Galaxies) The WF/PC-2 was used to make snapshot images of radio galaxy 3C220.2 as part of a continuum survey and to study the galaxy's morphology. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.13 Completed Two Sets of FOS/RD 5391 (Mapping the Hydroxyl Distribution in the Saturn Magnetosphere: Cycle 4) The Faint Object Spectrograph (Red Side) was used to make observations of regions near the planet Saturn (SATH2 and SATH3) to study the distribution of hydroxyl radical (OH) in its magnetosphere. Earlier investigations with HST have found the amount of OH to be unexpectedly high. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.14 Completed Two Sets of WF/PC-2 5568 (WF/PC-2 Cycle 4 Calibration: Decon) The WF/PC-2 was used to make an internal flat field calibration observation using the VIS lamp and the internal source as part of a decontamination operation. Dark and K-Spot observations were also taken. The observations were completed as planned, and no problems were reported. 1.15 Completed WF/PC-2 5663 (WF/PC-2 Cycle 4: Photometric Calibration Monitor: Fields Part 2) The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of globular cluster NGC-5139 with various filters in order to check the photometric calibration of the WF/PC-2. The observations were completed as planned, and no anomalies were reported. 1.16 Completed GHRS/2 5421 (Abundances of Very Heavy Elements in the Early Galaxy: Cycle 4 Medium) The High Resolution Spectrograph (Side Two) was used to observe the metal-poor halo star HD122563 to attempt to detect lines of the heavy elements platinum, iridium, bismuth, and osmium.
