1.0 ACTIVITIES SCHEDULED AND ACCOMPLISHED:

   1.1 Completed GHRS/2 5715 (Probing the Voids II  - Carryover)

       The High Resolution Spectrograph (Side Two) was used to make
observations of the active galactic nuclei located in galaxy IZW1. This
galaxy is known to be located behind an extra-galactic void. This is to study
the nature, abundance and distribution of H I absorbing clouds. The
observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were reported.

   1.2 Completed WF/PC-2 5574 (WF/PC-2 Cycle 4: Polarization Proposal)

       The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of G191B2B to obtain both
polarized and unpolarized images of the target to calibrate the instrument.
Visual flat observations was also taken. The observations were completed as
planned, and no anomalies were reported.

   1.3 Completed WF/PC-2 5397 (Determination of the Extragalactic Distance
Scale: Cycle 4 High)

       The WF/PC-2 was used to make images of galaxy NGC-3621 to be used in
measuring the periods of Cepheid variable stars within this galaxy. The
observations were completed as planned, and no anomalies were noted.

   1.4 Completed FOS/BL 5539 (Cycle 4 FOS Photometric Monitor)

       The Faint Object Spectrograph (Blue Side) used standard star
BD+33D2642 to calibrate the absolute sensitivity of its detectors. The
observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 

   1.5 Completed WF/PC-2 5369 (HST Medium-Deep Survey: Cycle 4 Medium, High
Galactic  Latitude) 

       The WF/PC-2 made a series of observations of high latitude objects as
part of a medium deep sky survey. The observations were taken in parallel
with other prime science observations. The observations were completed as
scheduled, and no anomalies were noted.
