The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.4 Completed WF/PC-2 5560 (WF/PC-2 Cycle 4 Calibration: Internal Monitor. 1) The WF/PC-2 was used to make several internal bias, K-Spot, and flat calibration observations to monitor the CCD camera electronics, the optical alignment, and to check for contamination. The observations were completed as planned, and no anomalies were noted. 1.5 Completed Two Sets of WF/PC-2 5655 (WF/PC-2 Cycle 4 Calibration: Internal Monitor. 2: Flats Part 2) The WF/PC-2 was used to make both dark and visual flats. The observations were completed as planned, and no problems were reported. 1.6 Completed WF/PC-2 5313 (Characterization of Jupiter's Vertical Cloud Structure ) The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of the planet Jupiter. The goal is to understand the general meteorology of Jupiter's visible atmosphere and the nature of the transport processes that occur within it. The following anomalies occurred during these observations and are under investigation: HSTAR #5127 reported that for one observation at 048/1748Z, FGS #1 failed to acquire the designated guide star in Fine Lock; however, Coarse Track back-up was successful. HSTAR #5128 reported that the WF/PC-2 had missing data. The HST Data Capture Facility lost lock in observations which occurred at 048/1830Z, 049/0157Z, and 049/0510Z. 1.7 Completed Three Sets of WF/PC-2 5446 (The Nuclei of Nearby S0 and Spiral Galaxies: A PC Snapshot Imaging) The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of the core region of galaxies NGC-1433, 0322-3741 and NGC-1317 to provide statistics on the nuclear cusps, stellar condensations, and inner stellar disks and dust lanes. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.8 Completed FOS/RD 5531 (FOS Target Acquisition Test) The Faint Object Spectrograph (Red Side) was used to make observations of standard star STAR-07255 to conduct an acquisition test. A Dark observation was also taken. The observations were completed as planned, and no anomalies were ported. 1.9 Completed WF/PC-2 5369 (HST Medium-Deep Survey: Cycle 4 Medium, High Galactic Latitude) The WF/PC-2 made a series of observations of high latitude objects as part of a medium deep sky survey. The observations were taken in parallel with other prime science observations. The observations were completed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.10 Completed WF/PC-2 5397 (Determination of the Extragalactic Distance Scale: Cycle 4 High) The WF/PC-2 was used to make images of galaxy NGC-3621 to be used in measuring the periods of Cepheid variable stars within this galaxy. The observations were completed as planned, and no anomalies were noted. 1.11 Completed Two Sets of WF/PC-2 5714 (Imaging of UV Bright Stars in Metal Rich Globular Clusters) The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of the metal rich globular clusters SGR-1 and NGC-6624. Each target was searched with three filters to search for ultraviolet bright stars and to determine their luminocites and temperatures. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.12 Completed WF/PC-2 5574 (WF/PC-2 Cycle 4: Polarization Proposal) The WF/PC-2 was used to make Visual Flat calibration observations. The observations were completed as planned, and no anomalies were reported. 1.13 Completed FOS/BL 5530 (FOS Location of Spectra and Aperture) The Faint Object Spectrograph (Blue Side) was used to make Y-base maps of the FOS detectors using internal lamps. The purpose is to determine the location of the spectra on the diodes. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.14 Completed Two Sets of WF/PC-2 5092 (GTO Low Latitude Parallel Program: Cycle 4) The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations taken in parallel with the prime science observations. This is part of a survey to take pictures of a large number of fields within 30 degrees of the galactic plane. The observations were completed as planned, and no problems were reported. 1.15 Completed WF/PC-2 5450 (Host Galaxies and Cluster Environments of Quasars) The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of Quasar Q1240+1754 to study the properties of its host galaxy and surrounding environment. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.16 Completed FGS 5586 (Parallaxes of Hyades Cluster Members: Cycle 4 High) The FGS were used to make astrometric observations of stars located in the Hyades cluster (i.e., VA310, PCEN310, AST50-REF, AST52-REF and AST53-REF) as part of the AST/GTO program to determine trigonometric parallaxes of the cluster members and thereby define the Population I zero age main sequence. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.17 Completed Two Sets of WF/PC-2 5312 (A Deep Imaging Search for the Source of the Short Period Comets) The WF/PC-2 was used to search for possible comets in the Kuiper belt (FIELD-0431).
