The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.12 Completed Two Sets of WF/PC-2 5343 (WFC Imaging of Nearby Bright Quasars) The WF/PC-2 was used to make images of the bright quasar PKS1004+13 and PG1012+0 its host galaxy. The goal is to study the morphology of this galaxy, and to see how it differs from non-QSO galaxies. They also will be looking for the relationship between the properties of the host galaxy and the luminosity of the quasar. The observations were completed as planned, and no anomalies were reported. 1.13 Completed WF/PC-2 5397 (Determination of the Extragalactic Distance Scale: Cycle 4 High) The WF/PC-2 was used to make images of galaxy NGC-3621 to be used in measuring the periods of Cepheid variable stars within this galaxy. The observations were completed as planned, and no anomalies were noted. 1.14 Completed WF/PC-2 5450 (Host Galaxies and Cluster Environments of Quasars) The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of Quasar QSO-Q1222+1235 to study the properties of its host galaxy and surrounding environment.
