The = observations were completed as planned, and no anomalies were reported. 1.2 Completed WF/PC-2 5996 (The Morphology of Field Galaxies at High = Redshifts) The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of several field = galaxies (Field-2217) in order to study their morphologies. The = observations were completed as planned, and no anomalies were reported. 1.3 Completed GHRS/2 6065 (ZAMS Atmospheric Structure as a Function of = Rotation) The High Resolution Spectrograph (Side Two) was used to make = emission line spectrographic observations of the zero-age main sequence = (ZAMS) star HD82443 in order to study its atmospheric structure as a = function of rotation. Wavelength calibrations, internal flats, and dark = calibration images were also taken. The observations were executed as = scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.4 Completed WF/PC-2 6311 (The Structure of Nova Shells) The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of the shell of recurrent = nova T-Pyxidis. The expansion of the shell, and the size distribution of = the knots in the shell, will be determined. The observations were executed = as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.5 Completed WF/PC-2 5913 (Low-Mass Binaries and Luminosity Function) The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of the low-mass binary = system SGP007 (Late Type Class M dwarf stars). The intent is to determine = why the local stellar luminosity function is flat below Mv=3D12, while = that found from more distant stars falls by an order of magnitude by = Mv=3D14. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies = were noted. 1.6 Completed FGS 6047 (Calibrating the Mass Luminosity Relation at the = End of the Main Sequence) The FGS were used to make astrometric observations of star GL748 as = part of a study to determine its mass luminosity relationship. The purpose = is to measure the precise parallax and relative orbit of its faint = companion. The observations were completed as planned, and no problems = were reported. 1.7 Completed WF/PC-2 6253 (Pure Parallel Archive Program) The WF/PC-2 was used to execute a pure parallel program taking = ultraviolet observations running concurrent with prime science = observations. The intent is to search for extra-galactic sources with flux = excesses at 3000 A0 and galactic sources with excesses at 1600 A0. The = observations were completed as planned, and no problems were reported. 1.8 Completed GHRS/2 5857 (Is Mixing or Mass Loss the Cause of Decline in = 12C/13C) The High Resolution Spectrograph (Side Two) was used to make = spectrographic observations of the halo star HD103095 to study the ratio = of its 12C/13C Carbon and the abundance of its Boron. The results will = influence models of evolution off of the main sequence. The observations = were completed as planned, and no problems were reported. 1.9 Completed Two Sets of GHRS/2 5869 (Chromospheric Activity in Quiet = stars: Halo Subdwarfs) The High Resolution Spectrograph (Side Two) was used to make = spectrographic observations of the quiet stars HD84937 and HD201891 to = study its chromospheric activity. This is a search for Mg II emission in = low metallicity solar temperature field stars in the galactic halo. The = observations were completed as planned, and no problems were reported. 1.10 Completed WF/PC-2 5999 (The Nuclear Structure of S0 Galaxies: A PC = Imaging Survey) The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of S0 class galaxy = ICI-919 in order to study its nuclear structure. This is a part of a large = survey of S0, E/S0, and S0/a class galaxies. The targets will cover a wide = range in luminosity and environment. The observations were completed as = planned, and no anomalies were noted. 1.11 Completed WF/PC-2 6119 (Snapshot Survey for Companions of Planetary = Nebula Nuclei) The WF/PC-2 was used to make snapshot survey observations of = planetary nebulus NGC-40 to study their nuclei and to look for possible = companions. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies = were noted. 1.12 Completed FOS/BL 6038 (Winds of Massive Stars in Nearby Galaxies, the = WR Stars) The Faint Object Spectrograph (Blue Side) was used to make = spectrographic observations of the massive Wolf-Rayette star M-33-OB88-7 = which is located in the M-33 Galaxy in order to study its stellar winds. = The observations were completed as planned, and no problems were reported. 1.13 Completed FOS/RD 6237 (Molecular Hydrogen toward a QSO) The Faint Object Spectrograph (Red Side) was used tp measure the = columen density and excitation of molecular hydrogen in a QSO. Metal = abundances and dust content will also be measured. The observations = consist of a single 8750-second expossure, plus target acquisitions. The = observations were completed as planed, and no problems were reported. 1.14 Completed WF/P-2 6254 (GTO Pure Parallel Program - Cycle 5) The WF/PC-2 was use to make random long exposures of high galactic = fields taken in parallel with the prime science observations to obtain a = random sample of galaxies. The observations were executed as scheduled, = and no anomalies were noted. 1.15 Completed WF/PC-2 6225 (Resolving Dust Around Shell Stars) The WF/PC-2 was used to make deep image observations of A-class = shell star HR-4368 looking for protoplanetary disks, like that around Beta = Pic. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies = were noted. 1.19 Completed WF/PC-2 6114 (White Dwarf Distance and Precision Age for = the Globular Cluster 47 Tuc) The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of white dwarf star = WD2326+049 which is located in the globular cluster 47 Tuc in order to = study the clusters age and distance. This set of observations will be used = to determine the distance to 47 Tuc, hopefully to an accuracy of better = than 10%. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies = were noted. 1.20 Completed FGS 6271 (L726-8/UV Ceti) The FGSs were used to make astrometric observations of the binary = star UV Ceti to search for a short period low-mass companion around either = component of this binary object. The observations were = executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.23 Completed WF/PC-2 5479 (Subarcsecond Structure in Nearby AGNs) The WF/PC-2 was used to make snapshot observations of the nearby = active galactic nuclei of HEAO-1-025 to study the interactions between the = central engine, the stars, and the interstellar matter in the AGN. The = observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.24 Completed WF/PC-2 5995 (Galaxies in a Very High-Z Cluster) The WF/PC-2 was used to image a very distant cluster of galaxies = around 3C184 (z=3D0.996). The purpose is to study the morphology of the = galaxies in this cluster, and to compare them with galaxies in relatively = nearby clusters. This should lead to insights about the formation and = evolution of galaxy clusters. The observations were completed as = scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.25 Completed WF/PC-2 5974 (The Evolution of Radio Loud Quasars) The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of the radio loud large = redshift quasar MRC1114-22. The purpose is to determine if these galaxies = are from the same parent population as other kinds of radio galaxies = already studied using HST.
