1.0 ACTIVITIES SCHEDULED AND ACCOMPLISHED:

   1.1 Completed WF/PC-2  5476 (Continuum Snapshots of 3CR Radio Galaxies) =


       The WF/PC-2 was used to make snapshot images of radio galaxy =
3C142.1 as part of a continuum survey and to study the galaxy's =
morphology. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies =
were noted.

   1.2 Completed GHRS/2/1 5873 (UV/X-Ray Spectroscope of Cyg X-2)

       The High Resolution Spectrograph (Both Sides One and Two) were used =
to make Rapid Mode ultraviolet observations of The binary x-ray source =
object 4U2142+380 (aka, Cyg X-2). The HST exposures were simultaneously =
taken with ASCA x-ray observations. The observations were executed as =
scheduled, and no anomalies were noted.

   1.3 Completed FOS/RD 6224 (UV Spectra of QSO 1E 0302-223)

       The Faint Object Spectrograph (Red Side) was used to make =
observations of Quasi-Stellar Object 1E302-223 to study damped Lyman-Alpha =
absorption and the Lyman-Alpha forest Lines. The observations were =
completed as planned, and no anomalies were noted.

   1.4 Completed WF/PC-2 6253 (Pure Parallel Archive Program)

       The WF/PC-2 was used to execute a pure parallel program taking =
ultraviolet observations running concurrently with prime science =
observations. The intent is to search for extra-galactic sources with flux =
excesses at 3000 A0 and galactic sources with excesses at 1600 A0. The =
observations were completed as planned, and no problems were reported.

   1.5 Completed WF/PC-2 5972 (Determination of the Extragalactic Distance =
Scale)

       The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of the galaxy NGC-3198 =
looking for standard candle Cepheid variable stars. The purpose of this =
observations is to help estimate the Hubble constant with an accuracy of =
10%. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were =
noted.

   1.6 Completed WF/PC-2 6221 (Small Scale Structure in Axisymmetric  =
Planetary and Protoplanetary Nebula)

       The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of the nebula NGC-3132 to =
study its small scale structure. The high resolution of the WF/PC-2 will =
allow discrimination of rings, knots, neutral clumps, and shells. The =
observations were completed as planned and no anomalies were noted.

   1.7 Completed GHRS/1 6075 (Determinations of Fundamental System =
Parameters of Cataclysmic Variable)

       The High Resolution Spectrograph (Side One) was used to make Accum =
Mode Spectral observations of the Cataclysmic Variable Star (CV) =
U-Geminorum. The data are needed to establish the orbital velocity =
amplitude, K1, for the white dwarf in the U-Gem system and to obtain an =
orbital delay timing solution. A wavelength calibration image was also =
taken. The observations were completed as planned, and no anomalies were =
noted.
