The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were = noted. 1.9 Completed WF/PC-2 5923 (The Structure of the Emission Line Regions = of Compact Steep Spectrum) The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of the compact radio = galaxy 4C12.50 in order to study the structure of the emission line = regions of its compact steep spectrum. The goal is to map the emission = line structure and establish its relationship to the radio structure. The = observations were completed as scheduled, and no anomalies were reported. 1.10 Completed FOS/RD 6039 (The Young , Rapidly-Evolving Planetary = Nebula HE3-1357) The Faint Object Spectrograph (Red Side) was used to make = spectrographic observations of the young, rapidly evolving planetary = nebula HE3-1357 (Sector O). It appears that this planetary nebula is no = older than 40 years. The evolution of this object should allow a strict = test of the models and theories for the early evolution of planetary = nebulae. The observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies = were noted. 1.11 Completed Three Sets of WF/PC-2 6183 (WF/PC-2 Cycle 5 Calibration: = Decon) The WF/PC-2 was used to make some internal flat, K-Spot, and dark = calibration images. The purpose is to define decontamination procedures = to be run during Cycle 5. The calibration observations were completed as = scheduled, and no anomalies were reported. 1.12 Completed WF/PC-2 6507 (NGC-3664 A Case Study of Shock Induced = Propagation of Star Formation) The WF/PC-2 was used to make observations of the galaxy NGC-3664 in = order to study shock induced propagation of star formation. = Multi-wavelength ground based observations indicate that star formation = preferentially occurs along the rim and at the edges of the giant gas = shells of this irregular galaxy. The observations were executed as = scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 1.13 Completed GHRS/1 5413 (The Local ISM Flow Within the Heliosphere) The High Resolution Spectrograph was used to make observations to = study the flow of neutral atoms in the interstellar medium by observing = diffuse sky background in Lyman Alpha. The observations were executed as = scheduled, and no problems were noted. 1.14 Completed GHRS/1 6323 (Weak Interstellar Lines in the Spectrum of = Zeta Oph) The High Resolution spectrograph (Side One) was used to make = observations of the star Zeta Orp (aka, HD149757) in order to study weak = interstellar lines in its spectrum.
