1.0 ACTIVITIES SCHEDULED AND ACCOMPLISHED:

   1.1 Completed GHRS/2 6072 (The First Multiple Layer Doppler Imaging of =
an Active Binary)

       The High Resolution Spectrograph (Side Two) was used to make the =
first rapid mode multiple layer Doppler imaging of the active binary =
system HD155555 (aka, V824).  This target was observed in wavelengths of =
Mg II and C IV in order to construct a 2-Dimensional map of the uneven =
heating distribution in the choromosphere.  A wavelength calibration =
image was also taken.  The observations were executed as scheduled, and =
no anomalies were noted.

   1.2 Completed FOS/BL 6242 (Binaries in Globular Clusters (FOS 37): =
Time-Resolved Spectra)

       The Faint Object Spectrograph (Blue Side) was used to make rapid =
mode spectrographic observations of the X-ray burst binary source located =
in the globular cluster NGC-6624.  Simultaneously X-ray observations will =
be obtained using the XTE satellite.  The orbital period of the X-ray =
binary system is thought to be eleven minutes.  The observations were =
executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted.

   1.3 Completed WF/P-2 6254 (GTO Pure Parallel Program - Cycle 5)

       The WF/PC-2 was use to make random long exposures of high galactic =
fields taken in parallel with the prime science observations to obtain a =
random sample of galaxies.  The observations were executed as scheduled, =
and no anomalies were noted.

   1.4 Completed Two Sets of GHRS/1 6171 (CRIMP1: Cycle 5 =
Condensed-Regimen Integrated Monitoring Program)

       The High Resolution Spectrograph (Side One) was used to obtain =
darks, internal flats (in photoscan mode), wavelength calibrations and =
observations of standard star BD+28D4211.  This includes detector =
calibration, sensitivity monitoring, and wavelength monitoring.  The =
observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted. 

   1.5 Completed WF/PC-2 6561 (Ages of Extreme Metallicity Inner Galaxy =
Globular Clusters)

       The WF/PC-2 was used to make photometric observations of the stars =
in the globular cluster NGC-6387.  This cluster has a very low =
metallicity, and is relatively close to the galactic center.  The =
objective is to determine the age of the cluster, and compare it with the =
ages of low-metallicity clusters at large galactocentric distances.  The =
observations were executed as scheduled, and no anomalies were noted.

take place in the SMOR/MOR area today.

3.0 SIGNIFICANT FORTHCOMING EVENTS: 

        GSFC Internal Simulation #4 (EVA #2 - FGS/OCEK/ESTR2) will occur =
today from approximately 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
