1.0 ACTIVITIES SCHEDULED AND ACCOMPLISHED:

   1.1 Completed WF/PC-2/GHRS/1/FOS/BL 6567 (Wind of Massive Stars in =
Nearby Galaxies)

       The WF/PC-2, the High Resolution Spectrograph (Side One) and the =
Faint Object Spectrograph (Blues Side) were used to make observations of =
O/B class, hot stars in the local-group, irregular galaxy NGC6822.  =
Detailed studies of the hot stellar populations in galaxies outside the =
Milky Way provide very important tests of the theories of stellar winds =
and star formation and evolution.  The observations were executed as =
scheduled and no anomalies were noted. 

   1.2 Completed FOS/BL 6705 (Below the Lyman Edge: VU Polarimetry of =
Quasars)

       The Faint Object Spectrograph (Blue Side) was used to make =
spectrographic polarization observations below the Lyman edge of the =
bright quasar UM18.  The observations were completed as planned, and no =
problems were reported.

       HST flight operations moved to the SAMS at 220/0635Z for one of =
the scheduled check-outs of that back-up facility.
