HUBBLE SPACE TELESCOPE DAILY REPORT #2502 PERIOD COVERED: 0000Z (UTC) 11/16/99 - 0000Z (UTC) 11/17/99 Daily Status Report as of 321/0000Z 1.0 OBSERVATIONS SCHEDULED AND ACCOMPLISHED: Since HST remains in Zero Gyro Sun Point (ZGSP), no science observations were performed. 2.0 FLIGHT OPERATIONS SUMMARY: 2.1 Guide Star Acquisitions: No activity 2.2 FHST Updates: No activity 2.3 Operations Notes: The HST remains in Zero Gyro Sun Point (ZGSP). Daily meetings are being held, and extensive analyses are being performed. After the enter orbit day event at 321/0028Z, the vehicle experienced another large attitude excursion. An extensive V2 maneuver was required to put the Sun back into the primary coarse sun sensor. The Battery rate of error counter reached a value between 1302 and 1362, prior to re-setting. The safemode limit is now set to 2100. The EPS reached trickle charge in the day pass during the orbit. Using ROP SR-1, the SSR EDAC error counter was cleared twice. GSTDN supports were obtained at Canberra (at 320/1421Z and at 320/1600Z) and at Goldstone (at 320/2132Z0 in order to dump SSR engineering data. 3.0 SIGNIFICANT FORTHCOMING EVENTS: Servicing Mission 3A, currently scheduled for December 6, 1999. /CAW
