HUBBLE SPACE TELESCOPE DAILY REPORT #2516 PERIOD COVERED: 0000Z (UTC) 12/08/99 - 0000Z (UTC) 12/09/99 Daily Status Report as of 343/0000Z 1.0 OBSERVATIONS SCHEDULED AND ACCOMPLISHED: Since HST remains in Zero Gyro Sun Point (ZGSP), no science observations were performed. 2.0 FLIGHT OPERATIONS SUMMARY: 2.1 Guide Star Acquisitions: No activity 2.2 FHST Updates: No activity 2.3 Operations Notes: HST continues in ZGSP. Operations Note #661 was used to reset the time-based recharge ratio charge/discharge buffers at 342/1405Z. High Gain Antenna slews were performed at 342/1540Z. These slews took both the X and Y axes through operational ranges, and then returned each to the stowed position, in preparation for SM3A. CCS string "G" was assigned to support the Operations Readiness Test. The test, which was successful, ran from 342/1420Z until 342/2010Z. 3.0 SIGNIFICANT FORTHCOMING EVENTS: Servicing Mission 3A, currently scheduled for December 11, 1999 (although it now appears that there will be a delay of approximately five days).
