HUBBLE SPACE TELESCOPE DAILY REPORT #2525 PERIOD COVERED: 0000Z (UTC) 12/19/99 - 0000Z (UTC) 12/20/99 Daily Status Report as of 354/0000Z 1.0 OBSERVATIONS SCHEDULED AND ACCOMPLISHED: Since HST remains in Zero Gyro Sun Point (ZGSP), no science observations were performed. 2.0 FLIGHT OPERATIONS SUMMARY: 2.1 Guide Star Acquisitions: No activity 2.2 FHST Updates: No activity 2.3 Operations Notes: The HST is in ZGSP. The time-based recharge ratio charge/discharge buffers were reset at 353/1353Z, using Operations Note #661. STS Flight 103 was successfully launched at 354/0050Z. Safing system red limits were changed at 354/0556Z per an operations request. 3.0 SIGNIFICANT FORTHCOMING EVENTS: Rendezvous and capture of the HST, which is expected to occur at approximately 355/2240Z. This will be followed by three days of Extra Vehicular Activity (EVA), instead of the planned four EVAs. This report will resume with the commencement of Servicing Mission Orbital Verification activities, scheduled to occur shortly after the release of the HST by the orbiter. Release is currently expected to happen at approximately 359/2300Z. /CAW
