ACS reference files
AS OF 24 July, 2006, PLEASE USE THE LINK BELOW AND GO TO THE
NEW CDBS ACS REFERENCE FILES WEB PAGES!
ANY LINKS AND LISTINGS BELOW THIS ARE FROM THE OLD PAGE.
Reference files used by the ACS calibration pipeline (CALACS
and PyDrizzle/MultiDrizzle) are updated on a regular basis.
Current reference files files can be retrieved from the HST archive,
or downloaded directly from the following webpages.
See the
logsheets
for a detailed history of all ACS reference file deliveries and installations.
The pixels affected by these reference files are generally identified by
data quality flags
in the [DQ] extension of calibrated FITS data.
Lists of current reference files
Sensitivity and throughput tables
Throughput tables used to populate photometric keywords in
image headers, and used by the
exposure time calculators.
Data quality flags
Flags used to identify bad and corrected pixels in the data quality arrays of all ACS data.
Bias reference images
Superbias images for
subtracting bias structure.
Overscan tables
Describe CCD overscan regions
used to measure bias level
Distortion correction tables
Parameters for geometric distortion correction.
Cosmic ray rejection tables
Parameters for rejecting cosmic
rays from CR-SPLIT images
CCD tables
Converts commanded properties to
calibrated values for each CCD amplifier.
Bad pixel tables
Flag "permanently" bad pixels in
the data quality (DQ) arrays
of ACS images
Residual geometric distortion images
Correct residual
geometric distortion
MultiDrizzle parameter tables
Parameters for combining and
cleaning associated datasets
Linearity Table List
Parameters for determining linearity in MAMA images.
Flat Image List
Reference Images for flat field division.
Dark reference images
Reference images for dark current subtraction, including hot pixel correction and flagging.
