FAQ
     ###Observing Strategies###

* Is there any target acquisition mode available ?
ACQ (acquisition) is the mode used to acquire a target for
coronographic observations (the target is placed under the
occulting finger of the coronographic mask). This mode is available
only for the HRC. Observations through two (non-polarizer) filters
are allowed in ACQ images to cut down the flux to acceptable levels.
For more information the user is referred to chapter 8 in the
     Instrument Handbook.
