On page 113 of Section 11.4.1, Table 11.1 presents detector background count rates for COS. The value quoted for the COS NUV detector, 6.9e-5 counts/pixel/sec, was measured early in SMOV. Since then, the level has risen steadily, and as of mid-January 2010 had reached about 2.9e-4 counts/pixel/sec. Details are available here.
