Q: Are reference Transfer Functions available at various colors? A: Currently, all but one of the available reference Transfer Functions are for B-V=0.5; there is one file for the PUPIL filter for B-V=1.5. There are two special calibration programs for Cycle 5 which will provide reference Transfer Functions for the CLEAR (F583W), PUPIL, and NEUTRAL DENSITY (F5ND) filters for targets of three color indices ranging from approximately B-V=0.0 to around B-V=1.75 at the center of the field of view. |
