Abstract excerpted from the report:

The GHRS dark noise monitoring calibration program (2841) was executed
five times during Cycle 1. Dark count response continues to be nominal
for Detector 2: the average background count rate was 0.011 counts s-1
diode-1. Detector 1 was not monitored due to the Side 1 hardware failure.
