GHRS Instrument Science Report 038 "GHRS 3385b: Relative Sensitivity Monitor" 6/92 L. E. Walter and R.L. Gilliland Abstract excerpted from the report: The sensitivity of the GHRS in observations of BD +28 4211 at 5 wavelengths for 3 gratings (CAL 3385A) taken in May 1992 were compared to the same observations taken in January 1992. Both a straight ratio of the similar data sets and a ratio of the new sensitivities were obtained for the wavelengths 1200A, 1500A, 2000A, 2500A, and 3000A. Analysis is consistent with no change in sensitivity. Also, the sensitivity of the GHRS in recent observations of Mu Col at several wavelengths for 3 first order gratings (CAL 3385b) were compared with previous data taken during SV (1356). The mean of the Mu Col data were obtained from observations taken at 100 A intervals between 1100-2300A for the grating G160M, between 1800-2300A for G200M, and between 2300-2300A for G270M. The average ratio of new to old data is 1.023 +/- 0.033.
