Notes: There are two SSA antennas on TDRS for high gain, high throughput single user operations. HST requires SSAR (Single Service Access Return) contacts for the science data to be transmitted down. HST also desires SSAF (Single Service Access Forward) contacts for the uplinks because the signal strength at HST is better than with MAF (Mulitple Access Forward) contacts.
