Outsourcing NICMOS calibrations in Cycle 10

NICMOS has more modes and capabilities than the NICMOS group has resources to calibrate.
For provisional NICMOS Cycle 11 calibration goals, see Chapter 13 of the NICMOS Instrument Handbook.

HST users are thus encouraged to submit calibration proposals (see the Cycle 11 Call for Proposals) to fill possible gaps in the NICMOS calibration program or to obtain higher accuracies for certain calibrations when needed. Examples include photometric transformations and NICMOS polarimetry in Cameras 1 & 2.
