Although the NCS was not restarted, NICMOS proposals were solicited for Cycles 18 and 19. Based upon assessments of those proposals and the efforts required to
re-commission NCS and NICMOS, no proposals were selected and the NCS has remained off. NICMOS proposals are not being solicited for Cycle 20.

Used vs. Best reference files for NICMOS data

<dtml-var standard_html_header>

Please note that NICMOS data retrieved from MAST is the statically reprocessed data and it no longer goes through On-the-fly Reprocessing (OTFR).
If you request 'Used Reference Files' as well as 'Best Reference Files' you will get the same set of files. The used vs. best reference file term
applies only to the data that goes through OTFR. 'Used' means the reference files that were used when the data was last cataloged. Best means
the reference files that OTFR uses to generate the data.

If you would like to receive an old reference file that was used in the past you can still retrieve it using the dataset lookup form.
