Polarizer Data Analysis Software
The following IDL routines, written by Lisa Mazzuca & Dean Hines, to analyze
polarimetry data have are available for
download. THIS CODE WAS UPDATED ON APRIL 25, 2004.
- polarize.pro - derives relevant polarization parameters from NICMOS polarization
images and plots the resulting intensity image and polarization vectors
(combination of polar.pro and polarplot.pro)
- polar.pro - calculates polarization coefficient images from observed NICMOS
polarization images
- polarplot.pro - plots polarization vectors or contours over a given intensity
image
This software is available on an as-is basis. These routines are not
supported by STScI personnel. See
ISR-99-004 for details on these programs.
