Reporting Problems with and Requesting Changes to Approved HST Programs
This web page is for astronomers who use the Hubble Space Telescope
and wish to formally communicate to STScI technical details related to
their programs. If you are not sure if you should use this page,
please e-mail your Contact Scientist, Program Coordinator, or
help@stsci.edu.
With this page you can do any of the following:
- Request a change to an approved HST
program.
- Report a problem with an HST observation.
- Request a resolution of an apparent
conflict of proprietary data rights.
All requests for program changes should be discussed with your Contact
Scientist and/or Program Coordinator before filing a formal action
here. In many cases, your PC or CS can resolve the issue informally. More
information on the policies
and procedures for submitting change requests and problem reports can be found
in Policies
for the Telescope Time Review Board (TTRB).
The PCR form below should only be
used if major changes need to be approved.
This page should not to be used for these types of changes:
- Administrative changes, such adding or deleting a
co-Investigator, changing the Principal Investigator, or
changing the proprietary period for data. For these types of
changes contact Dr. Neill
Reid, Head of the Science Mission Office.
- Changes in funding or related matters. Contact the STScI Grants
Administration Office instead.
