July 2009 anneal report for SMOV program 11399 and Cycle 17 Calibration
program 11849

There was an anneal of the CCD on July 24, 2009, 21 days after the
previous anneal of July 3 2009.

For the most part, past trends continue. The number of post anneal hot
pixels continues to increase. The post-anneal dark now shows 40956 hot pixels
for the 0.1 e/s level.

1) The *raw* post-anneal dark count rate for this anneal is 0.06523 cnts/pixel
for late July 2009. This compares with 0.04587 cnts/pixel in June 2009 and
0.08867 cnts/pixel in early July 2009.

2) The iterated median count rate (after iterating up to 30 times by
eliminating pixels +/- 5*sigma) is 0.01200664 cnts/pixel for late July which
is down from early July which is 0.01418906 and up from June which is
0.008282891.

3) The creation rates of hot pixels for the last three anneals.
