New Post-Analysis Tasks Available
Three new post-analysis tasks have been created to correct various kinds
of STIS data. These tasks will be included in the upcoming fall STSDAS release
(v3.6).
CTESTIS
IRAF/STSDAS task to correct measured data in STIS CCD photometry tables
for CTE loss. Details.
MKTRACE
IRAF/STSDAS task to measure the orientation of the trace
of a target in a spectroscopic image and to create a spectral trace table
appropriate for that orientation.
Details.
WX2D
IRAF/STSDAS task to rectify spectral images using an alternative
interpolation algorithm to the bilinear interpolation used by
the task "x2d". The latter is used during OTFR retrievals
of STIS spectra. Details.
