System Throughputs

Using filter throughputs determined in the lab in combination with the measured QE of the flight detectors and sensitivities of WFC3's optics, we have calculated the total system throughput associated with each filter.

  • IR System Throughput Plots
  • UVIS System Throughput Plots

  • The same information in tabular form
    System Throughput Tables.
Text columns are row, wavelength (angstroms) and throughput (percentage). The first 4 rows identify the original FITS file, column headings and units.

In order to use this information for exposure time calculations, use the WFC3 ETC.
