Background Light

A smooth background light can be imposed and included in the noise calculations.

For now, only stellar background sources are implemented.

The default is to use Johnson Visual magnitudes per square arcsecond to specify the background, but you can use the menu to select otherJohnson-Cousins magnitudes, or AB magnitudes.

The spectral type of the stellar background can also be selected.
