March 05-07, 2012The Hubble Fellowship Program remains one of the leading fellowship programs in the field of astronomy and astrophysics. The program now includes all research relevant to present and future missions in NASA's Cosmic Origins theme. These missions include: Herschel Space Observatory, Hubble Space Telescope (HST), James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA), and Spitzer Space Telescope. More than over 270 of the most prominent and active scientist in this field have been supported at a crucial phase in their careers by this program, and the Hubble Fellowship Program continues to be one of the highlights of NASA's pursuit of excellence in space science. Each year, the current 45 Hubble Fellows convene for a three-day Symposium to present the results of their recent research and to meet face-to-face with other Hubble Fellows and with the scientific and administrative staff who manage the program. Last year the Symposium was held in Pasadena at the Spitzer Science Center; in 2012 the Symposium returned to STScI in Baltimore. Conference Photos
