High Altitude Leadership
Chris Warner
John Bahcall Auditorium
2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
April 7, 2009
Chris Warner, who has summited five 8000 meter peaks and is one of America's
top climbers, has been drawing big crowds to his shows since 1990. He will
be sharing his newest multi-media show with us, one that he recently shared
with the folks at Cisco, Google, The National Defense University, The
Wharton School of Business, and others.
Chris Warner is not just a climbing bum, he is the owner of the Earth Treks
Climbing Centers, a mid-sized company with 175 employees and three locations.
Based on Chris' combination of climbing skills and entrepreneurial experience,
the Earth Treks team was chosen, in 2000, to guide Leadership Development
Expeditions for the Wharton School of Business.
Chris' writings on leadership have appeared in SmartCEO magazine, Upward Bound
and his new book, High Altitude Leadership, co-authored with Don Schminke.
The reviews have been fantastic…the feedback from overwhelming and
extremely positive. One account manager commented that "it was
the best guest speaker he has seen in his 11 years--that includes
former Presidents."
