From Points North (Pennsylvania-Philadelphia-New York)

Take Interstate 95 (I-95) or Interstate 83 (I-83) south to Interstate 695 West. Proceed on I-695 west to Exit 23 (I-83 South/Jones Fall Expressway). Take I-83 south to Exit 9A (Coldspring Lane). Left onto Coldspring Lane and proceed approximately 1 mile to Roland Avenue (top of hill). Turn right at signal and proceed approximately 100 yards to signal. Bear left at signal/road split, then continue down road (now University Parkway) approximately 1 mile to San Martin Drive. Turn right at the signal and proceed approximately 1/4 mile to STScI.

Take Interstate 95 (I-95) north to I-395 (Downtown Baltimore). Proceed on I-395 north (bearing left at road split) to Pratt Street. Turn right onto Pratt Street and continue east to Calvert Street.
