The Hubble Deep Field
The Space Telescope Science Institute hosted a symposium on the Hubble Deep Field on May 6-9, 1997. The deepest image ever taken has stimulated an enormous number of collaborations, follow-up observations in other wavebands, and new challenges to theories of galaxy formation. Observers and theorists participated in lively discussions on the theme of the Hubble Deep Field.
