Poster Requirements

Registered participants presenting a poster will be issued a poster number at the time of registration. Please be sure to place your poster in the corresponding space (push pins will be available in the poster session area). Posters will be displayed from Monday, May 8th, through Thursday, May 11th, 2006 in the cafeteria conference room (far right corner of the Cafeteria). Anyone who wishes to keep his or her original poster must remove it by 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 11th, 2006. Posters not removed by this time will be discarded.

If you have an electronic version of your poster, please send it to maysymp-media@stsci.edu. We will put it on the May Symposium website. Do not forget to bring a hard copy of your poster to display.

Those wishing to present posters should submit title/abstract to Quindairian Gryce (gryce@stsci.edu)

NOTE: Those participants submitting a poster after April 22, 2006, names will not appear in the program, but will appear on the information board at the time of the symposium.

Proceedings for Poster Book

Deadline: July 15, 2006

4–5 pages, with no color and no page numbers: The poster book will be published by STScI on standard 8.5" x 11" paper. If you displayed a large-size, single-page poster, please do NOT send it in that format for the poster book. For your poster to be included in the poster book, you will need to reformat it (an 8.5" x 11" format of your choice) to fit on 4–5 pages.
