Visitor Parking

Visitors wishing to drive are asked to park at the JHU Eastern High Campus Facility on 33rd Street, and take the JHU Shuttles that serve Homewood Campus. The parking facility is located at the corner of Ellerslie Avenue and 33rd Street.  Driving east from the Homewood Campus on 33rd St., the first lot on the right after passing Ellerslie Avenue is reserved for visitors.  The parking area for STScI staff and visitors is located at the upper end of the lower lot; use the bus shelter at the top of the lower lot.  Upper Lots at Eastern are reserved for Eastern hangtag permit holders.  Hours of operation will be 7:30 am to 7:15 pm.  A parking attendant will be on site from 7 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday along with a roving Security vehicle as an added presence on the lots.  Shuttle buses will run continuously every 15 minutes between the campuses during the anticipated peak demand periods 8-11 am and 4:30 pm - 5:15 p.m., departing and returning to the covered shelter on the Ellerslie Avenue lot. From 11 am to 4:30 pm, the shuttle will depart from Eastern every 30 minutes on the hour and half hour. This service is free of charge.

Bloomberg Center/STScI Shuttle Stop: The Shuttle drivers will attempt to pull in to the Muller Building Turnaround, however traffic in the turnaround may make it necessary for the driver to stop out on San Martin Drive. Passengers waiting for the shuttle should be aware of the traffic in the turnaround, and the need to keep an eye out for the shuttle as it makes its way up San Martin Drive.
