Using the College‘s telescope (similar to the JHU facility), people viewed
a side of the clear moon with its many craters and very visible jagged edges.
Six society members also provided their own telescopes, set up to view things
such as a red filtered lunar image, detailed moon craters, star clusters,
depending on what images were most vivid and clear in the night sky. All
participants received a certificate for taking part in the fall‘s
3-session astronomical journey!
"Parent and Daughter Evening Under the Stars" - On Friday, November 4, 2011,
