Visitor Parking Information - Muller

PLEASE NOTE: All visitors should try to arrive at least 30 minutes in advance.

Please understand that due to limited availability of parking on the JHU campus, it may not be possible for STScI staff members to reserve parking for your visit.

San Martin Center Parking Garage

The San Martin Center Garage is located approximately 1/4 mile south of STScI on San Martin Drive.

STScI is located a short walk north of the garage past the Carnegie Institution building.

STScI Visitors may park in the STScI reserved section of the San Martin Center Parking Garage. Take a ticket at the gate, and make a left to drive down to the reserved parking. You may park in any space with no sign posted, or spaces posted with a "STScI Parking Only" sign. Please do not park in any space posted with a "JHU" or "CIW" sign. When arriving at the Institute, discard ticket and receive a replacement ticket from the Front Desk. You will need this ticket to exit the parking garage.

Parking availability is limited at this location.

STScI Event Parking

Conference attendees should follow any parking instructions provided by the conference registration staff.

Special Event attendees should follow any parking instructions provided by the event planning staff.

Please Note: Visitors driving to the Space Telescope Science Institute should avoid parking in Johns Hopkins University lots (other than the San Martin Center Garage), metered JHU visitor parking, and on-street parking near STScI. Visitors parking in these locations risk ticketing and/or towing of their vehicles.

Event participants staying at local hotels are encouraged to use the STScI-sponsored shuttle service, which provides door-to-door service from local hotels to the Space Telescope Science Institute during conferences.
