The JWST instrument suite will consist of four science instruments with multiple imaging, spectroscopic, and coronographic modes. The instruments can observe astrophysical sources over a wide wavelength range extending from 0.6 - 28.3 microns and offer superb sensitivity and resolution, with wide fields of view.
