Overview

This tool computes the spectral energy distribution of the backgrounds in a given direction and for a range of wavelengths.

Processing and Reporting Options

Determine backgrounds as

 Run in batch mode.
Report input data as well as results.

The results are based on a data set consisting of values calculated at equally spaced points around an orbit. For each observation, the following report options are available:

Display the median data set value
Display the minimum, median and maximum data set values
Display the minimum and maximum data set values
Display the entire data set (all time points -- only applicable with single-visit input)

Stray Light model: - for the OTA, sunshield, and background sources. NOTE that the finite-element model may take several hours to complete with the full DRM.
